Intel Labs Berkeley was founded with a specific focus and expertise in systems and networking (starting with the first projects on sensor networking). Over time, the lab has evolved into a multidisciplinary organization with expertise in networking, systems, programming languages, and HCI, with cross-cutting emphasis in security, machine learning, and sensing. As a small research lab, one of our key strengths is to work closely with UC Berkeley students, faculty, and a wide variety of strong research groups and organizations (including the Parlab/Universal Parallel Computing Research Center, RADLab, ICSI, BID, etc.).
