Public Transportation

The Downtown Berkeley BART station is adjacent to the building where we are located. BART runs to and from downtown San Francisco, San Francisco International Airport (SFO) and Oakland International Airport (OAK) frequently.

Power Bar building is right across from the main exit of the Downtown Berkeley station. We are located in the Penthouse suite of the "Power Bar" building (on the right there is a Washington Mutual branch and on the left a Tully's Coffee shop).

Parking

The "Allston Way Garage" (2061 Allston Way, between Milvia Street and Shattuck Avenue, +1 510-981-9443) is adjacent to and behind the Power Bar building with access available from both side streets.

Hotels

Berkeley is a charming area. There are a few good hotels near campus (Intel Labs Berkeley is right next to campus). Below are notes on some of the more obvious choices.

Hotel Shattuck Plaza
Built in 1910 by the family of Francis Kittredge Shattuck, the hotel was Berkeley's first. After undergoing a recent renovation, this is Berkeley's newest boutique hotel.	Distance: across the street Price Range: US $150 - $250 Reviews @ Trip Advisor

Bancroft Hotel
Just a short walking distance from Haas Business School, Law School and adjacent to Caffe Strada and the Berkeley Art Musuem. There is one queen bed per room. The Faculty Club UC Berkeley
The Faculty Club offers hotel facilities right in the middle of the central Berkeley campus. The Club provides affordable rooms, each equipped with a telephone and television set. Doubletree Hotel at the Berkeley Marina
Located on the Bay, with a great view of San Francisco. Very pleasant location, but about 4 kilometers to downtown Berkeley. There is a hotel restaurant and another restaurant nearby, but little else. The hotel provides a shuttle to Downtown Berkeley BART station.
