Biography
Gianluca Iannaccone joined Intel Research in September 2003. Gianluca was first at the Cambridge, UK lab and then moved to Berkeley, CA in January 2007. Prior to that, he worked for three years in the IP Research group at Sprint Advanced Technology Laboratories in Burlingame, CA. He received a "laurea" (MSc) and Ph.D. in Computer Engineering from the University of Pisa, Italy in 1998 and 2001. Gianluca's research focuses on network management, network measurement and the design and implementation of networked systems and applications. Current projects include Routebricks, building a high speed software router using a cluster of Intel servers, and CoMo, a platform for fast prototyping network monitoring applications.Service
